John Eveson is a photographer with more than 25 years' experience. Before setting up his own business, he was chief photographer and picture editor of the 'Farmers Guardian,' a national weekly newspaper noted for its high standards.
Now working mainly with digital images using highest quality Nikon cameras and lenses, John has developed a wide knowledge and skill extending beyond agriculture. He regularly freelances for both large companies and private clients in many fields.
Examples include press and PR, web, travel, industrial and commercial. Private commissions, including weddings, are also undertaken on a regular basis.
John is a member of the Guild of Agricultural Journalists and has won numerous awards for his work. His pictures have been used to illustrate calendars, greetings cards, postcards and books.
John Eveson studied photography at South Nottinghamshire College. As well as teaching photography at further education level, he has also judged numerous photographic competitions.
John's main strengths are meticulous attention to detail and the ability to capture a shot with 'that special something' that will make the viewer look twice.
